Alicia Keys

Since first storming the GRAMMY’s® stage in 2002, winning Best New Artist, Song of the Year and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, Alicia Keys has been synonymous with GRAMMY® success, scoring an additional NINE GRAMMY Awards® which takes her total GRAMMY® count to a whopping 14 GRAMMY Awards®. And 10 years later, is still ‘on fire’.

Her recently released album ‘Girl on Fire’ was received to rave reviews, and appearing from her breathtaking performance at the 12.12.12 concert for Sandy relief, to countless TV interviews.

She still found time to stop by our studio in LA to talk to Carson Daly, reliving her first GRAMMY® win and giving a glimpse inside creative process with Jay-Z that led to GRAMMY Award®-winning hit, ‘Empire State of Mind’.

Jermaine Paul is a former contestant on NBC’s The Voice (hosted by our very own Carson Daly) and had the honor of previously being one of Alicia’s back-up singers. Here’s a video clip of Alicia talking with Carson about Jermaine and their past collaborations together:
